For those that aren’t aware, Disney Dreamlight Valley’s next major content update is called Missions in Uncharted Space and will see the addition of Buzz and Woody as characters to befriend and hang out with. The update also looks poised to bring in new story quests for the Frosted Heights and potentially even add Stitch, though this is just speculation at the moment.

When Dreamlight Valley revealed Missions in Uncharted Space, many players assumed that the star path would be space themed. While a space-themed star path would certainly be welcomed by most players, some were understandably concerned that this would mean no holiday-themed star path. Given that the previous star path gave players Halloween items to make their valleys and their outfits match the spooky season, it seemed strange that the December star path would skip over Christmas and the holiday season. The new tease about the upcoming star path should dispel any doubts players had about this.
Unscrambling the hidden word leads players to the word “Festive,” seemingly confirming that even if the content update ends up being themed after Stitch, Buzz Lightyear, and space, the star path will stick with the traditional holiday theming that fans were expecting. Of course, that hasn’t stopped fans from joking that the star path will actually be themed space, claiming that the image unscrambles to “FIVE ETS” and will be about extra-terrestrials.
It should be said that there are still plenty of ways that Disney Dreamlight Valley could take a festive star path. The star path could bring items based on Nightmare Before Christmas, Mickey’s Christmas Carol, or even The Muppet Christmas Carol. With the update and the new star path releasing tomorrow, fans don’t have long to wait before finding out.
