For those that aren’t aware, Disney Dreamlight Valley is still in Early Access. This means that the game is not yet fully complete, and that regular updates have been adding new content to the game over time. The first major update added Scar and a new mines area to the Sunlit Plateau, and this one looks to be an even larger update.

Fans already knew that Buzz and Woody were joining Dreamlight Valley’s roster of Disney characters on December 6th along with a new Toy Story realm, but this image surprised fans with its inclusion of Stitch from Lilo and Stitch. The character was featured in the game’s original loading screen along with Belle even though neither were in the game yet, but his inclusion in this teaser for the next update makes it seem very likely he’ll be added. What’s more, the title of the update, “Missions in Uncharted Space,” also lends itself well to the addition of Stitch.
There are a few notable things in the image. Iconic characters like Mickey and Merlin are both wearing winter-themed outfits, there is a white fox companion dressed up in winter attire, and snow is falling rather than rain. What’s more, Anna and her house are heavily featured in the image, meaning she may be involved in new story quests. The image also appears to be in the Frosted Heights, and the pillar can be seen in the background, hinting that the story quest may continue along as well.
Regarding what the four emojis meant, it seems to hint that players will be exploring new areas with Stitch, potentially meaning new areas of the map will open up. Players will know for sure on December 6th when the update releases on all platforms. Until then, more speculation will have to suffice.
Disney Dreamlight Valley is in early access now on PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
