One of the things that players get when they purchase the Founder’s Pack is an item called Moonstones. According to Gameloft, when Disney Dreamlight Valley goes free-to-play, Moonstones will be purchasable with real money. Until then, here is how players can get more Moonstones.

Search For Blue Chests
As players roam around the biomes of Dreamlight Valley, it is common to come across chests that contain clothes and furniture. Aside from that, Disney Dreamlight Valley players will occasionally find a blue chest in one or more biomes every day. If players open the blue chest, they will get 10 Moonstones.
While typically only one chest spawns per day, it is possible to find two or more if players happen to get lucky. These blue chests will only give players a fixed amount of Moonstones, and it does not change.
The Star Path
One method of acquiring Moonstones in Disney Dreamlight Valley is the Star Path. The Star Path is similar to a Battle Pass in other games, as it provides players with unique cosmetic items that are only available for a limited time.
A good example of one of these Star Paths is the Pixar Fest that launched with Disney Dreamlight Valley when it entered Early Access. As players complete Duties associated with the currently active Star Path, they will be able to choose cosmetic rewards on the pages they have unlocked.
If Disney Dreamlight Valley players use their Moonstones to unlock the premium track of the Star Path, they will be able to choose Moonstones as a reward to purchase with the Star Path currency. This allows players to recuperate Moonstones they used to purchase the premium track of the Star Path.
While it is possible to use Moonstones to outright purchase Star Path currency, it is not recommended to do this since Moonstones are not readily available in abundant quantities in Early Access.
Purchase Another Founder’s Pack
Depending on which edition of the Founder’s Pack Disney Dreamlight Valley players purchased, one option is to purchase another Founder’s Pack. For example, if players purchased the basic Founder’s Pack, they have the option to purchase the Deluxe and Ultimate Editions of the Founder’s Pack.
Upon purchasing a higher tier of the Founder’s Pack, players will get all the items that are unique to that particular edition in the in-game mailbox. The same applies to Moonstones since the more expensive versions of the Founder’s Pack provide players with more Moonstones.
What Are Moonstones Used For?
At this point in Early Access, Moonstones can only be used on the Star Path. While initially, they can be used to unlock the premium track of the Star Path, they can also be used to purchase the unique Star Path currency that can be used to unlock cosmetic rewards. This allows Disney Dreamlight Valley players to skip the time-consuming Star Path Duties that allow players to get more currency for free.
Disney Dreamlight Valley is available now on Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
